INFORMATIONS ABOUT OUR KITTENS: CHARACTER ABOVE ALL!

Every cat in the house takes care of the kittens. Females are related or grew up together and they often raise the babies together. Males are very sweet with kittens and they help cleaning up them and play with them.

We spend a lot of time with kittens since the birth to socialize them. CHARACTER is at the top of our breeding program and we want our babies to be special for their outgoing social temperament. Character is mostly genetic and we're making a strict selection on breeding cats upon this quality. None of our cats and kittens is used for breeding or given for breeding if he/ she hasn't the true sweet and loving Ragdoll disposition, it doesn't matter if it's perfect to the standard!
Character is the quality that makes a Ragdoll a true Ragdoll and sadly some bloodlines lost. Our focus is to maintain in the future generations the special disposition of ancient Ragdolls.

Other important qualities we're breeding for are: size and flop factor. Also floppiness is genetic and must be carefully selected as it is very easy to lose.

All kittens are vaccinated twice, dewormed and they don't leave the cattery before 3 months of age. They have the guarantee for genetic diseases for 1 year.

All cats in the cattery are tested negative for Felv-Fiv .
All our breeding cats are blood tested for blood group and are DNA tested for HCM.
All cats in the cattery are tested for Fip using PCR test.

Breeding quality kittens go only to regularly registered catteries and under special conditions. No stud boys of Silmarilions go to catteries without girls and/or not able to offer the suitable placement for a stud.

Our kittens formed the breeding stocks of new catteries and have been added to breeding programs of old catteries. Most of our kittens went abroad and they gained a lot of show success, becoming Champions, Grand Champions, European Champions, CFA and TICA Grands. HOW TO GET A KITTEN FROM US

Call or email and tell us a little about you so that we can try to match you with the right kitten.
No one that has been to another cattery on the same day will be allowed to see our kittens for health reasons. Kittens cannot be touched during the visist to protect their health.
Only kittens already vaccinated can be handled by visistors.

We can furnish you several GREAT professional photos of kittens to help your choice and to follow your kitten's growth once you have chosen your own baby!
Once the kittens are around 3 - 5 weeks old they can be reserved.
To reserve a kitten you will be asked to make deposit.
kittens can't be reserved without deposit.
Deposit is non-refundable if the baby is calcelled.
But it can be transferable to another baby or a future litter.
The balance is due at pick up or 15 days before shipping if the kitten has to be be shipped.
Kittens are ready for new homes between 12-14 weeks.

What is NOT included in the price:

Spay/neuter surgery . All pet quality kittens must be spay/ neutered. Their pedigrees are NOT valid for shows or breeding.
Shipping cost, crate and Health Certificate to fly is extra and depends on the airline and destination.

VACCINATIONS and SHIPPING:

The vaccines are given once at 8-12 weeks of age, and then again at 12-16 weeks of age.
All kittens that require International shipment, do require a rabies vaccination.
So there are additional costs for rabies, microchip and to get the European Per Passport ( for Europe) or the Shipping International Health Certificates ( for USA - Canada ).
We do ship both domestically and internationally.
We raccomend European breeders to consider to pick up personally their kitten.
It is cheaper and less stressful for the kitten. The kitten can travel as hand luggage with you on board and it cost a little less than a cargo shipping.
I can personally bring your kitten at the airport in Rome or at the train station to meet you and to help you not to lose time.
So you can eventually match a nice week end in Rome with the pick up of your kitten!
International and overseas shippings are usually handled by an International courier. The cost depends on destination, time of the year and other factors.
